Man United Reserve Keeper added Time of Consecration

In the new contract, Man United has the option to extend Romero’s contract.
“Sergio is a great and professional goalkeeper and he performed well last season and performed superbly, especially in the Europa League,” manager Jose Mourinho said.
“Sergio deserves a new contract for Manchester United to have Sergi and David (De Gea) is important,” said Mourinho.

Last season, 30-year-old goalkeeper is more featured in the Europa League with a record 12 matches. He recorded eight matches not conceded and only four times conceded.
One record clean sheet was booked by Romero when Man United beat Ajax 2-0 in the Europa League final, as well as a title for Jose Mourinho’s troops.
Related new contracts, Romero pleaded glad to be maintained by Man United.
“Who does not want to be in the big clubs of the world? We have amazing goalkeepers and we learn from each other,” Romero said.
“Obviously, the Europa League champions are a very proud moment for me and my family to be part of the Europa League final,” Romero added.
